Brief: Balfour Beatty take sustainability very seriously. They wanted to maximize the publicity value – both externally and internally – of their involvement in Ecobuild, ‘the world’s biggest event for sustainable construction’.
Solution: The idea was to film at Ecobuild, to show all the different activities in which the company was taking part, then to create a video for the home page of their website and to distribute to all their different operating companies around the world. The video needed to reflect the style of the event: a little bit unbuttoned.
My role: Writer, director, editor, motion graphics
Comments: It was good having a client on this one who wanted something a bit original, a bit more fun, even though the subject matter was largely people in meetings of one sort or another. It was good to see it on their website within days of the event.
