Solution: In collaboration with the stand designers I created a layout for a curved wall of plasma screens: 32 in all, with the screens arranged in four columns of eight, arranged vertically. The programme was edited using, as far as possible, original high definition video that I had filmed, to give us the dynamic action shots we needed.

Comments: I have to admit to going a bit Jeremy Clarkson on this one, having great fun filming heavy pieces of hardware charging around the countryside. The hard work came in the edit suite, where my colleague and motion effects specialist had to struggle with a massive composition, 2880 x 2560 pixels in size, that’s three-and-a-half times bigger than full hi-def. To run the programme we split it into eight independent, synchronized video streams. The end result was stunning.
